About Rigby
Your new best friend is just one click away. Rigby’s journey began when he was found on a quiet country road, but it's puzzling why anyone would let go of such a spirited pup. He truly lives up to his nickname, Mr. Personality, and brings life and joy wherever he goes as the "Life of the Party." Rigby adores everyone he meets and happily gets along with both cats and dogs. His stout physique, spotted white paw, and upbeat, goofy attitude suggest a mix of basset hound, making him even more charming. This adventurous fellow is the complete opposite of a typical watchdog—he'd much rather be the big, friendly greeter! Rigby’s playful curiosity leads him to amusing antics like climbing into washing machines and exploring kitchen cabinets. However, he’s got a knack for slipping out the door, so a home with a secure fenced yard is a must. Rigby is heartworm positive and just started his antibiotic treatment; his adopter will need to continue his medical care for several months. Rigby isn’t a fan of crates but he loves to snuggle, walks beautifully on a leash, is a fabulous car companion, and thrives on social interaction. Weighing about 25 pounds and estimated to be around 3 years old, he would flourish in an active home where daily walks and outings are the norm—he has too much zest for life to be a constant couch potato.
