About Blair
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Blair—a sweet, snuggly 8-month-old pup who mixes loving cuddles with a boundless joy for activity! Blair lights up every game of fetch and is always ready for adventure. Her affectionate, playful nature means she gets along great with other high-energy dogs, but her exuberance might be a bit much for quieter canine companions. Cheerful and generous with hugs and kisses, Blair sometimes gets mouthy, typical of her husky heritage. She’s mostly comfortable and well-behaved in her kennel, especially if she’s occupied with a treat or toy, but be prepared for some classic “husky fits” and jailbreak attempts if she’s bored! Blair’s previous abandonment has left her with some mild separation anxiety, so she’ll need a family who can keep her company for all but 3-4 hours a day to prevent behavioral issues. With HIGH ENERGY to spare, Blair thrives in active homes with energetic dogs. She will not be suitable for senior or medical pups, and she will need plenty of physical and mental exercise daily. Owners must provide a fenced yard—a 6-foot fence is ideal, but whatever the height, supervision is essential as she’s quite the jumper when bored or startled. Kids over about 8 will likely enjoy her enthusiasm, but smaller children could get knocked down by her exuberant spirit. Those with husky or shepherd experience will find Blair’s personality familiar and rewarding. Blair already knows sit, paw, and her recall, and she’s spayed, up to date on all medical needs, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Most importantly, she’s looking for an active, loving family to be her forever home. Fun fact: Blair is a Libra, so you can expect her to crave harmony and balance, especially in active play!
