This handsome mixed breed pup blends hound and shepherd, and at about 6-7 months old, he is full of puppy energy and growing steadily as a medium-sized male. Shiloh is house trained, up to date on his vaccinations, and has been neutered. He is currently thriving in foster care at Mostly Mutts.

At approximately 6-7 months old and around 30 pounds (but still growing!), Shiloh has been thriving in a foster environment after arriving from animal control. He bonds quickly with humans and other dogs, showing off his playful and affectionate nature. Shiloh enjoys wrestling and snuggling with his two Goldendoodle foster siblings and is buddies with the 6-year-old child in the home—though a toddler-free household is recommended, as he might inadvertently knock over smaller kids during play. Shiloh is a happy, sociable pup who loves to give and receive plenty of affection. Equal parts cuddler and mischief maker, he delights in exploring his surroundings, picking up toys—or anything that seems like a toy! Shiloh is working on basic commands such as 'sit,' 'leave it,' and 'come,' and benefits from the free lifetime training classes offered by the rescue to help him become the best adult dog he can be. He has good crate manners, settling well when left and sometimes seeking out the crate for naps or quiet time. His house training is progressing well; he's had very few accidents and is learning to signal when he needs to go out, so consistency will help him master this quickly. Tennis balls and stuffed toys are Shiloh's favorites, and he will gently carry his treasures on walks or entertain himself by tossing toys in the air. He’s not a big eater and prefers to graze throughout the day. While unfamiliar with stairs, he's bravely working on them a little at a time. Most importantly, Shiloh adores attention, playtime, and companionship—he just wants to be part of a loving family that will offer him plenty of love, patience, and gentle guidance.
