About Bolton
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Bolton, a playful and silly friend who is around 8 years old and weighs about 49 lbs. Having journeyed from animal control into the care of Mostly Mutts, Bolton is now enjoying a well-deserved second chance at happiness. While his past may have been tough, he is eager to leave it all behind and is searching for a loving family ready to welcome a loyal companion. Bolton has completed a prison/foster training program and is currently thriving in a wonderful foster home as he waits for his forever family. Bolton loves other friendly dogs and is always up for a fun game of tag—he's quick to encourage a chase and enjoys playing with canine pals. He should not live with cats, as he enjoys chasing them, and would do best with children over 10 years old since his enthusiasm and size might be overwhelming for toddlers. His personality is the perfect blend of sweet, gentle, and a little goofy. True to his hound heritage, he enjoys sniffing and exploring, engaging with toys, and embarking on long walks. Though he loves playtime outside, Bolton is also content to relax and enjoy quiet moments by your side. A proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, Bolton knows several commands, practices proper door etiquette, and has good leash manners with a gentle leader. He excels in accepting strangers with grace and rarely needs a crate—preferring to be close to his humans. His potty habits are excellent, and he is always up to join for day trips or outings with new friends. Although he had some thin fur and was underweight when he arrived, Bolton's condition has improved with proper care and a sensitive prescription diet. His skin and coat look great, but he would benefit from a future dental cleaning for mild tartar. Bolton is current on his vaccines, microchipped, and neutered, making him ready for adoption at Mostly Mutts in Kennesaw, GA. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
