About Monica

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Monica is a charming 10–11 month old, medium-sized hound mix who can't wait to meet her forever family! Social and incredibly affectionate, Monica thrives on companionship—she's always happiest when surrounded by those she loves. She's shown herself to be friendly with other dogs, and would do especially well with a good-natured canine companion to help build her confidence and ease her separation anxiety. Monica is looking for a special home where someone is present most of the time, as she finds being alone quite difficult. She's a quick learner, having already mastered several basic commands, and she’ll benefit from ongoing training (included with adoption). Monica loves playtime, walks, peanut butter Kongs, cuddles, and lots of hugs. She is not fond of being crated, so an alternative to metal crates is needed, and she may need a little extra support with house training as she settles into a new routine. Monica’s ideal family will be patient and understanding as she learns that her loved ones always come back. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines, and she receives medications for separation anxiety, which her new family can discuss further with the rescue. Monica is eagerly waiting at Mostly Mutts in Kennesaw, Georgia, hoping to find the loving home she deserves! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
