Sophie and Lexie were rescued as stray kittens and got spayed and vaccinated by their rescuer. They were very shy and scared, so we sent them to a wonderful foster home where their purrsonalities could blossom! Here's what you need to know about these sweet sisters: - They are very busy girls who like to jump, climb, and play. They will either need a large cat tower or a cat activity wall. - Sophie relies on Lexie for confidence. Fully! Lexie will come to you for attention when she sees you, but Sophie takes a minute and you must come down to her level. - They are both treat motivated but Lexie will eat double her share if you let her, lol. - Sophie likes to be very clean! Even if that means washing her feet in her water dish! - Lexie wants alllllll the pets and scratches! - Sophie likes the gentle belly rubs and often! - They are great with dogs! Zero hissing or swatting and Lexie will let them sniff her. - They want to be close to their humans but not little people (no kids)! They are spooked too easily by loud noises and excessive movement. - They want a calm household where they themselves can be the life of the party. - Nose boops are a must for Lexie and Sophie will do it if she's in the mood. - No picking them up, yet. They aren't sure of your intentions. But, Lexie will sit on your lap if you're calm. These girls are so sweet! They need a calm, quiet household that will give them the patience they need to feel comfortable. It's going to take 2 - 4 weeks for them to settle in. Once they do, their family will be in for a wonderful treat! Adopting two kittens is often times better than just one! Twice the love, play and fun!
