Nia and Thomas were found as kittens in a cat colony and started out very shy around people. A patient foster helped them gradually come out of their shells—Thomas warmed up first and now actively seeks out attention and affection. Nia, still more reserved than her brother, is slowly building trust but makes the most progress when Thomas is near. They both love getting wet food as a treat, are playful and curious about new toys, and aren’t shy about joining you during a quiet movie night. Thomas enjoys pets and will often settle himself on a lap. Nia follows his lead, taking cues from him on who’s safe. Together, they do well with other cats and are currently living in a room with several other feline friends. Nia depends on Thomas for confidence, and he thrives having her nearby for company and play. Because of this bond, they need to be adopted together—they truly bring out the best in each other.
