About Ruben
Ruben came to ARC after being rescued from a hoarding case that involved more than 20 cats. Right from the start, he stepped into the role of protector for his fellow felines, giving them comfort and a sense of security as they adjusted. Over time, Ruben and his group gained confidence, and he moved into the FIV roomāthough heās not FIV positiveāwhere Margo and Sourdough became his new roommates. Margo doesnāt seek much interaction, but after just a day, Ruben and Sourdough were already snuggling up together. Ruben really thrives with at least one other cat around and is happiest with feline friends. While he can be cautious with people, he opens up with patience and time. His social side truly shines with other cats. If you're looking for a companion who values the company of his own kind and offers calm, cat-centric energy, Ruben might be your guy.
