**CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE Meet Brent! Brent is a 5-year-old hound mix weighing about 55 pounds with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Brent’s journey began on October 9, 2025 when he was seized from a property after suffering severe neglect. When he arrived at the shelter, the injuries to his neck required extensive veterinary care and months of healing. Today Brent’s recovery is nothing short of remarkable. While there is still some minor healing on his neck, the transformation from where he started to where he is now is incredible. Despite everything he endured, Brent is a joyful, affectionate dog who greets life with enthusiasm and trust. Currently thriving in foster care, Brent has been showing everyone just how wonderful he is. He loves stuffed squeaky toys (his absolute favorite), car and truck rides with his foster dad, spending time with children, playing with other dogs, and going on adventures. Brent previously lived in a home with cats as well. Brent has a wonderful personality and a resilient spirit, and he’s ready to leave the past behind and find the loving forever home he truly deserves. Vetting: Brent is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
