***ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS_AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER 2/24 Jeff is a 3-year-old, 45-pound hound mix who came to us as a stray, so his household history is unknown. What we do know is that he is an absolute clown. Jeff has a goofy, happy personality and isn’t afraid to make you laugh. He loves treats, enjoys attention, and has that classic hound curiosity that keeps his nose busy and his tail wagging. Jeff has done well with most dogs he has met and showed little interest in the cat room during his time with us. He appears to enjoy being social and engaged with his people. Jeff is still learning what it means to have a home. He’ll benefit from patience, clear guidance, and a consistent routine as he adjusts. With positive reinforcement and time to build confidence, he has all the potential to become a steady, devoted companion who bonds deeply with his people. Jeff will be fully vetted prior to adoption. His vetting includes neuter surgery, heartworm testing, current vaccinations, microchipping, deworming as needed, and he will be started on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
