About Genesis
Genesis is a 4-year-old hound mix with a tricolor short coat and the kind of face that makes people smile. Her history wasn’t easy—she spent years outdoors, tethered, but has taken to shelter life with surprising adaptability. Genesis keeps her space clean, knows to do her business outside, and while her leash manners are still a work in progress, she has a playful spirit that comes alive on walks. She tends to be reserved at first if she doesn’t know you but warms up to be genuinely friendly and social once comfortable. Genesis gets along well with other dogs; she genuinely enjoys their company. She’s indifferent to cats. Like most hounds, she’s happiest when exploring scent trails or checking out new spaces. After finishing treatment for Lyme disease, Genesis is feeling good, healthy, and ready to settle into a home. She’ll thrive with someone patient who can give her routine and steady reassurance so she feels truly secure. She is spayed, vaccinated, and fully vetted. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
