About Charlie Brown In Md

Calm heart. Giant paws. Old soul energy. I’m Charlie Brown. I’m one of the five Charlie Brown Christmas litter puppies, born at 1:18 a.m. on Christmas morning—just two days after my mom and dad were surrendered to rescue. Thanks to rescue, our family is now safe and growing together. I’m friendly, calm, and surprisingly mellow for a Pyr puppy. I’m already well on my way to becoming a true Pyrenees gentle giant, tipping the scales at 25 pounds at just 10 weeks old. My foster human says I’m very emotionally advanced for my age, and I think that fits me well. I enjoy playtime, but I don’t zoom around like I’ve had three espressos - I much prefer relaxing and stretching out in a fluffy dog bed. I love people and other dogs and share my foster home with my four siblings, my mom and dad, and the older resident Pyrs. I get along wonderfully with everyone and have learned good manners from the queen of the house, a confident 12‑year‑old female Pyr who was quick to teach me the rules. I’m learning house manners and taking things at my own pace - I haven’t quite worked up the courage to go down the deck stairs into the yard yet, but I will. At night, I sleep quietly in a crate with my siblings. My ideal forever home will have another dog for companionship, a 5-foot securely fenced yard, and a family who understands and appreciates gentle giant breeds. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, loving old soul with a calm nature and a giant future, I’m your man. HTTPS://NATIONALPYR.ORG/ADOPTION-APPLICATION/ Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
