Dog's Name: Hank (HAN0326OWSMN) Estimated Breed: Pointer / Lab mix Approximate Age: 8 months Approximate Weight: 40 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Hank, a handsome, affectionate young mixed-breed boy with a huge heart and an even bigger love for cuddling. He is neutered, housebroken, and already knows basic commands like sit, come, and stay. His favorite things include curling up next to his person, sleeping snuggled in bed all night, getting his ears scratched, belly rubs, and happily chewing on a good bone. He's confident, playful, and full of personality—the kind of dog who will keep you smiling and make you feel like the center of his world. He does best as the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention he deserves. He's wonderful with adults and teenagers (not yet tested with little kids) and would thrive with someone willing to continue working on leash manners while enjoying all the love and loyalty he has to give. This sweet, cuddly boy is ready to be someone's devoted best friend. Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
