Last summer, Ellie was found dumped in a storm drain with her siblings :( After being rescued, they all got adopted, and while we adored the pups, we had hoped that'd be the last time we saw them... unfortunately, her owner had to deploy, and Ellie came back to KHS to find her forever home! She's grown up a bit and is now a gorgeous 9-month-old girl. Ellie is about 69 lbs of puppy love, and is just as wiggly and snuggly now as when she was a pup!! She lived previously with 3 kitties (whom she ignored), and a large dog (whom she did great with, except at meal times. Feeding dogs separately may help). If you already have a resident dog, we recommend doing a dog-to-dog introduction at KHS to ensure it's a good fit before adopting. Ellie also lived with kids under 5 and between 6-12, whom she ADORED!!! Ellie loves kids and does great with them :) Her favorite things are cuddles, playtime, and running around outside! Ellie is already house-trained and knows "sit", but she tends to chew on things she's not supposed to have. She is still very puppyish, and is looking for a patient adopter who will teach her to chew on dog toys. Ellie loves to be a big lapdog and will cuddle up in your personal space!
