About Sunny
This could be the start of something paw-some. Sunny truly lives up to her name, bringing warmth and happiness wherever she goes. Since arriving in foster care in early October 2025, she’s adapted beautifully and quickly made a lasting impression with her calm, gentle temperament and eagerness to snuggle. Her affectionate personality makes her a wonderful companion for anyone seeking a devoted friend. She’s already housebroken, kennel trained, and impressively skilled on a leash. Sunny knows how to sit and is working on more commands like come, down, lay down, and stay—her quick learning demonstrates just how easy she is to live with. While she isn’t the most playful pup at daycare, she gets along well with other dogs and is happy just to be in their company. If needed, she can be cat tested for potential adopters. Sunny may benefit most from a home without small dogs, as she sometimes shows mild resource guarding tendencies. When meeting new people, she can be a little shy at first, but once she feels secure, she blossoms into an affectionate "velcro dog"—always close by and ready to brighten your day. With her birthday on September 29, Sunny is a Libra, which means she’s likely to bring balance and harmony to any home. If you're ready to welcome a steady, sweet, sunshine-filled companion into your life, Sunny might be just who you’ve been looking for. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
