Merica showed up one day by the river and instantly found her way to one of the volunteersājust one of those dogs who always seems to sense a kind soul nearby. She wasn't claimed, so now it's her turn for a new start. At just over a year and a half old, she's young and affectionate, ready to bond with a new family. Merica walks calmly on leash and really likes having another dog around, and she does well in playcare and with her foster dog brother. Deaf but eager, sheās been picking up hand signals quicklyāher learning ability stands out, and her cheerful attitude makes her easy to love. Sheās adjusted well in her foster home, settling into routines, taking gentle morning wake-ups, and riding happily in the car. As long as thereās another canine companion, some walks, and a spot in your routine, sheāll thrive. If you want to meet her, fostering first is an option to see if itās a match.
