Baby was entrusted to our care after her owner's major health issues made him unable to care for himself or his pets any longer. After Baby's owner moved into a nursing facility, she spent two weeks with a temporary caregiver before coming to FFF on March 1st. Her caregiver describes Baby as a friendly girl who wags her tail and greets everyone she meets. She was gentle with the elementary-aged children in the home and enjoyed petting and attention from them. Baby is 14 years old and weighs 65 lbs. She has only been with us for a short time but has already earned the honor of becoming a lobbyist, our loving term for Frosted Faces who are not only well-socialized with humans and dogs but who are also non-territorial about food and beds, and don't try to head out the door when it's open. Baby checks every box and more - we couldn't ask for a better greeter or sweeter presence in our lobby for every visitor to meet! One of our volunteers shared this touching story about her first interaction with Baby: "After a long day yesterday, I came into the lobby and sat on the floor. Baby just knew I needed a little love and came over to bump me gently with her head. We just put our heads together and didn't move.
