About Cooper
Cooper was surrendered to the shelter with a large mass, but since his surgery, he’s feeling refreshed and ready for a new life. He’s now about eleven years old and weighs 67 lbs—solid, gentle, and full of heart. This brown Pit Bull Terrier is incredibly affectionate; Cooper adores belly rubs, gives kisses, and is happiest lounging beside you or curled up in your lap (despite his size). He enjoys weekly hikes, loves to play ball, and has mastered sit, shake, and catching treats—he’s smart and eager to please. His foster says Cooper mirrors your energy—he’ll relax or get active depending on what you’re doing. He is fully house-trained and does fine with long stretches between walks, though he’ll gladly join anytime you head outside. Cooper needs to be the only pet and is happiest as the center of attention, showering his people with love. If you want a deeply loyal, snuggly companion who will follow you from room to room, Cooper is a great fit. Give him sunbeams for naps and a cozy spot on the couch, and you’ll have a friend for life.
