Dog's Name: Pup Pup (PUP0326SOPFS) Estimated Breed: Wheaton / Cairn Terrier Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 20 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Pup — yes, that's really her name, and yes, she's every bit as cute as it sounds. Pup Pup is a sweet little Terrier mix with a dream of finding a forever family to call her own. She may have started her journey as a stray down in Georgia, but this resilient little lady hasn't let that dim her sunny personality one bit. In fact, she seems to have decided that life is pretty great... especially when it involves people, playtime, and belly rubs. After being found wandering, Pup Pup spent some time with a kind foster family who searched high and low for her original home. When no one came forward, it became clear that Pup Pup's next chapter was waiting somewhere new — and that's how she made her way here, ready to start fresh with the family of her dreams. And what kind of family would that be? Well, Pup Pup is not very picky. She absolutely adores kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and greets everyone like a long-lost friend she's been waiting her whole life to meet. If your family has been missing a cheerful little shadow with a wagging tail and a heart of gold, Pup Pup might just be the perfect addition. Apply today and come meet Pup Pup — your family's newest best friend could be waiting right here. Your pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
