Dog's Name: Copper (COP0326ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Redbone Coonhound / Catahoula Mix Approximate Age: 1 year Approximate Weight: 50 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Copper: The Blue-Eyed Heartthrob You Didn't Know You Needed! Ladies and gentlemen, step right up and meet Copper, a handsome hunk of hound whose dazzling blue eyes could probably convince you to give him the last slice of pizza... and honestly, you might not even mind. Copper is the total package: good looks, great manners, and a heart as big as his floppy ears. This charming boy is leash trained and will stroll proudly beside you on neighborhood walks, park adventures, or any outing where he can show off those movie-star eyes. But wait—there's more! Copper is also a man of many talents. He already knows how to sit and shake his paw, which he's more than happy to demonstrate in exchange for praise, snacks, or a spot next to you on the couch. Copper also gets along great with other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a home with canine companions. Most of all, Copper is simply looking for a family who wants what he has to give in abundance—loyalty, affection, and a whole lot of love. If your life could use a little more tail wagging, a few more walks, and a pair of unforgettable blue eyes greeting you every day, Copper might just be your guy. So what do you say? Apply today and add a little Copper-colored joy to your life! Your pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
