Dog's Name: Myrtle (MYR0326ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Beagle / Basset Hound Mix Approximate Age: 4 years Approximate Weight: ? lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Myrtle: The Low-Rider Queen Allow us to introduce the lovely Miss Myrtle — a beautiful, mature lady with soulful eyes and a gentle heart. We believe Myrtle is a delightful mix of Beagle and Basset Hound, which basically means she got the best of both worlds: the sweet charm of a Beagle and the laid-back, lovable personality of a Basset. Myrtle is currently on the hunt for something very important: a forever family who will adore her as much as she'll adore them. She's the kind of girl who greets everyone like an old friend. This sweet lady has clearly mastered the art of enjoying the simple things in life — leisurely strolls, cozy naps, and quality time with her favorite humans. She's looking for love, a comfy spot on the couch, and a family who appreciates the wisdom and sweetness that only a mature dog can bring. So if you're ready to welcome this wonderful low-riding lady into your life, Myrtle is ready to make your house feel a whole lot more like home. Appy today — because every family deserves a little hound dog happiness! Your pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
