Bentley loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for it — he’ll “talk” to you, lean into you, and happily climb into your lap if you let him. If you love a cuddly, expressive dog who wants to be close, Bentley is your guy. But Bentley isn’t just a couch potato. He has energy and needs someone willing to engage his brain and body. He enjoys fetch, toys, learning commands, and interactive play. He’s smart and responds well to structure and consistency. Mental stimulation and routine make a huge difference for him. When it comes to other dogs: Bentley can be overzealous and awkward in introductions. He’s not aggressive — he’s just a bit goofy and puppy-like in his enthusiasm. He tries, but sometimes his excitement gets ahead of his manners. Slow, proper introductions are key. He may also do best as the only dog or with a tolerant, confident companion.
