About Lee
Meet Lee – A Survivor Ready for His Forever Home Lee is a handsome American Bulldog mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Earlier this year, he was rescued on the very day he was scheduled to be euthanized. At the time, he was extremely sick with pneumonia—but thanks to proper veterinary care and the love of a dedicated foster home, Lee made an incredible recovery. Today, Lee is healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family he truly deserves. Lee is about 3 years old and weighs around 70 pounds. He is incredibly friendly and truly has never met a stranger. He loves people and wants to be close to his humans, whether that’s cuddling on the couch or heading out for one of his favorite activities—walks. He’s an active, playful dog who absolutely loves his toys. One of his most endearing quirks is that he often carries his blanket around with him—even bringing it along on walks. It’s just one of the many things that make Lee so special. Lee is house-trained and does well relaxing in his own space. While he’s not a fan of crates, he settles nicely when given a comfortable room or area to decompress. He currently lives with an older dog in his foster home and does well, and may do well with another dog with proper introductions. His compatibility with cats and young children is unknown at this time. Lee has been neutered and is ready to start the next chapter of his life. Currently fostered in Sherman, Connecticut, Lee is looking for a loving, stable home where he can continue to thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a resilient spirit and a playful personality, Lee could be the perfect match.
