About Penny
Penny has legs made for sprinting, a tail with a mind of its own, and enough energy to brighten any room. At about 8 months old and still getting her bearings, she’s firmly in that in-between phase: half puppy, half perpetual motion. Wrestling with friends, chasing whatever moves, and demolishing a Nyla bone are just her way of saying life is better at full speed. There’s a snuggly side too—give her a blanket and crate after a wild play spree, and you’ll see her wind down fast. She’s got a lot to say with her body language—occasional sleeve nibbles and bouncing included—but listens and learns when boundaries are set. Penny’s quick on the uptake and eager to please. She thrives at doggy daycare and adores her sister Piper. Potty training’s a work-in-progress, especially since excitement sometimes overrides routine, but she’s improving every day. Cats intrigue her rather than tempt her, and she hasn’t made a wrong move yet. Penny gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, ready to dole out affection wherever she goes. If your idea of a good time includes laughter, activity, and a dog who’ll keep you honest about getting your steps in, you may have found your match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
