We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes! ——————— Husky/Pit Bull mix • 10 months old • 60 lbs JUNIOR is a soft-eyed, sensitive sweetheart who just wants to feel safe. He may be shy at first, but give him a little reassurance and he’ll lean in close for comfort and quiet snuggles. Having missed early socialization, Junior is still figuring out the world — leashes, walks, and new experiences are all works in progress. What he needs most is a calm, patient home and a confident dog buddy to help him build courage. With love and steady guidance, this gentle boy will blossom into an incredibly loyal, devoted companion. The shy ones love the deepest — and Junior is ready to prove it. Sadly, Junior tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Junior will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions! Junior will be a wonderful companion to the person willing to give him the time and patience he deserves. Helping him learn to trust and truly blossom will be a beautiful and rewarding journey. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
