This stout little tank currently tips the scales at 19 pounds of pure muscle. She is extremely cute and has a great little personality. Whistler is only a year old, has completed her vet work and is now looking for her forever family. She gets along with other dogs and is friendly with all people. We have not seen her around cats. She is busy and likes to run about surveying the house for a soft spot to take a nap. She has the cutest little cow-lick right in between her front shoulders that makes her hair look like a tiny pinwheel. Whistler does have allergies and has been known to chew on her front legs and scratch at her belly. We are currently managing these with a food change (Salmon based ProPlan skin and sensitive stomach) and Allermyl shampoo. Allergies can kick up during certain times of the year like spring or summer where she may need allergy medication or shots or if she scratches frequently she could irritate her skin and need an antibiotic. RIght now we are hoping the food and shampoo regiment will keep her happy and non-itchy. Whistler does walk on a leash and rides well in a car. She loves meeting new people and loves to play.
