About Ryker

Ryker is a mellow Doberman Pinscher who has come a long way since being rescued from a large breeder shut-down. His early years left him with a strong attachment to people, and now he is happiest as the center of attention in a dog- and cat-free home. Ryker has a gentle manner with everyone he meets, never meets a stranger, and is affectionate in his own quirky way—he’ll gently mouth your hand or lick your fingers to show you he cares. He’s crate trained, house trained with a solid schedule, and does well on a leash. Ryker enjoys toys, chew bones, and keeping watch over his home, letting his deep bark announce any animal visitors. While capable of clearing a high fence if he wanted, he’s never tried to leave his yard. Because he can’t comfortably live with other pets, his current home has to rotate his time out to keep him from being stressed or confrontational with the others. He truly deserves a home where he’s the one and only, with a fenced yard and plenty of companionship inside and out. Ryker will thrive in a quiet home where he can share daily life and affection without animal competition. Ready to give him the peaceful, loving life he deserves?
