Meet OREO! He is ~5 months old as of 2/27/26 and ~29 lbs. We think he's a Lab/possibly Border Collie mix (based on looks alone)! We love his Oreo cookie pattern! Our estimate on full grown weight is 35-40 lbs, based on current age and weight. *Oreo is being fostered in the Edgewater, MD and is ready for a meet & greet!* Oreo made the transition from Puerto Rico to the East Coast in no time and is taking the snow in stride! He gets along with dogs well and is currently being fostered with a Bernese Mountain Dog who is his new bff. He had also been living with many dogs in Puerto Rico as well and loved them all. Energy wise, on a 1-10 scale, he is about a 5 (not very Border Collie, we know!). He likes to play with the big dogs but is also happy to be inside chewing his bones and chilling in his favorite spots. He is doing very well with crate training. He has had no accidents overnight in the crate. He will do his business outside but if not taken out regularly, he may have an accident in the home when no one's watching. As long as he's taken out regularly, he is good! He is young and we know as he gets older, he'll fully master holding his bladder for longer. Oreo is a friendly pup who does well with everyone. He is currently in a home with kids and his confidence around them grows every day. He has never been formally cat tested with us but we think with a proper introduction, he could be fine with cats (no behavior of his would indicate otherwise). Oreo is a great eater and has a voracious appetite! He isn't picky with his food from what we have observed. He is not a big shedder at the moment.
