About Lox

Lox landed at the rescue after his former person couldn't take him to their new living situation, so he was understandably bewildered at first. Though shy when he arrived, Lox opened up once he felt safe. He’s about a year old, medium-sized (around 53 lbs when weighed), and definitely still figuring out the world — car rides unsettle his stomach and, left to his own devices, he’ll entertain himself by digging or chewing on whatever he finds. He responds well to plenty of attention, exercise, and training, making those boredom habits fade fast. Lox is recommended for homes with older kids rather than toddlers; he’s known to chase little ones if they run. He isn’t a jumper or an escape artist, but will take some time to settle in new environments. He’s house trained, crate trained, knows a few basic commands, and walks respectably on a leash. With other dogs he does great, but cats might not be a fit for him. His favorite test by far? Snuggling. He passes every time. Lox is an affectionate, handsome Husky/Shepherd mix ready to bond with a new family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
