Stetson Kevin is an energetic young adult who’s a unique blend of German Shepherd and Husky, sporting a stunning white and cream coat. He's curious and thrives when engaged, but he's shown that he struggles with inactivity, often pacing and whining when he’s not busy. Although he initially gets startled, especially during walks, he’s gradually growing more confident with each outing. He's gentle with kids, working best with those around 10 years old, and can get along with other dogs, but it really depends on each individual. Stetson Kevin hasn’t been tested with cats, as the local shelter doesn’t perform those assessments. Inside unfamiliar places, he can be cautious, like when he met a dog statue that caught him off guard. Despite these quirks, he recovers quickly from sudden noises and takes his time before interacting with new people. Also worth noting, he requires neutering, so his adoption process won’t be finalized until after July 11, 2026. If you’re seeking a companion who needs some patience and love, Stetson Kevin could be your match. The Lycoming County SPCA is happy to assist with any part of your adoption journey during this process.
