About Harvey

Harvey is a blocky-headed, low-slung young pit mix who’s quick to win over anyone willing to give him a minute. He's lived around chaos but holds onto a gentle streak, especially with kids—he’s proven his patience with toddlers and likes to stick close to his people once he settles in. Take your time, and Harvey becomes a world-class cuddler. He laps up attention, adores lounging beside you, and, if there’s a toy around, he’ll find it. Harvey’s crate is his haven, and he finds comfort keeping you close. He’s currently in foster in Leesburg with school-age kids who’ve been teaching him extra commands—and he’s picking them up fast. He’s housebroken, takes treats with care, and already knows Sit and Wait. Probably looks bigger in photos than he is, but Harvey’s a solid 50 pounds and built for play. He’s great with other dogs and did well ignoring the foster family’s cat. Leash manners are still a work in progress (the kid’s strong), but he’s eager, social, and mellow when it counts.
