Bonnie Deserves a Second Chance Bonnie is one of those gentle souls who quietly steals your heart. This sweet girl was abandoned on the streets of Cleveland, Texas — an area where dogs are too often left behind and forgotten. Somehow, despite being discarded, Bonnie has held onto her gentle and loving nature. She was lucky to be found by a wonderful woman named Zully, a true angel for the abandoned dogs in that area. Zully faithfully feeds and checks on the strays and became especially worried about Bonnie when the weather turned cold. Knowing Bonnie deserved a better life, she reached out to our rescue for help. Bonnie is a soft, gentle, medium-sized girl who gets along well with other dogs. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality comes through. She has a calm presence and a kind spirit that makes everyone who meets her fall in love. Right now, Bonnie is safe in Maryland with our pet sitter, but she urgently needs a foster or forever home in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area. A quiet, loving home would help her continue to gain confidence and finally experience the security she has never truly had. Bonnie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is ready for her second chance — all she needs now is someone willing to open their home and heart.
