Chelsi is a 3 year old pitty mix who is truly the epitome of “good with all kinds.” She loves people, kids and adults alike, and does wonderfully with cats and other dogs. She is a gentle, friendly soul with an easygoing nature and a big heart for everyone she meets. This sweet girl has been available for adoption since the early summer of 2025 in Kansas. She was transferred up to Nebraska to give her a fresh start, but Chelsi is more than ready for her forever family. She’s been waiting patiently, and she deserves a home of her own. Chelsi is house trained and does not need to be kenneled. While she has had a harder time adjusting to being kenneled at her most recent foster home, she has previously kenneled well in past foster situations. With consistency, patience, and time, it’s very likely she could do so again if needed. Chelsi can be a bit spooky in new situations. Loud noises scare her pretty badly, and even after a couple of weeks in a foster home, big or sudden sounds can still startle her. Cars can also be overwhelming for her, and she will need to be lifted into a vehicle. These sensitivities don’t change who she is at her core, they just mean she needs understanding and gentle support as she navigates the world.
