About Rhino
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Rhino is a resilient Pit Bull Terrier mix who has already shown incredible bravery as a parvo survivor. He is settling into rescue life and quickly adjusting to his foster home, where he’s receiving plenty of love and care. Affectionate and sweet-natured, Rhino seems to get along well with other dogs, making him a great candidate for a multi-dog household. While his full personality is still emerging, his gentle demeanor already shines through. Born in late March, that makes Rhino an Aries—a sign known for its playful spirit and energy! Rhino is on the mend and will be ready to move forward with his new family once fully cleared by the vet to prevent any risk of parvo transmission. You’re encouraged to start the adoption process early if you’re ready to welcome Rhino home as soon as he’s healthy. Before applying, please check local breed-specific legislation regarding Pit Bulls, and note that adopters must live within 50 miles of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. All meetings and adoptions take place in person locally and cannot be completed remotely. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
