Major
AvailableMajor is a large, tricolor (brown, black, and white) mixed breed Bully who currently lives in Papillion, NE. At five years and ten months old, he is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Major tends to get along with other dogs but does not do well with cats. He is looking for an adopter comfortable with providing structure and leadership to help him thrive.
About Major
Major is a 5-year, 10-month-old Bully mix with a soft spot for tug toys and a strong appreciation for slow, structured living. He’s built his life around routine and feels most relaxed when things stay predictable—out of all his quirks, his devotion to a steady schedule ranks high. Major’s been in the rescue since July 2022 and has put in months of hard work with a professional trainer, showing meaningful progress. He’s sensitive to surprise or chaos and won’t do well in high-traffic or communal housing, but in a quieter home with clear, consistent expectations, he seriously thrives. This dog forms deep bonds and shows real loyalty and effort when he trusts his person. He needs an experienced, patient adopter who can provide structure and stay one step ahead. Major gets along with other dogs but isn’t suitable for homes with cats. His adoption comes with four included sessions with his trainer to set everyone up for success and smooth his transition into a new home. The right person for Major will get a devoted, thoughtful sidekick—and a low-key champion at tug-of-war. And as a fun bonus, Major is a Cancer, so he’s got that homebody energy nailed down.
