🌟 Meet the delightful Maggie! Born around March 11, 2019, this precious pup weighs in at 15 lbs. Maggie is a sweetheart who found her way to us after her elderly mom sadly passed away, and her dad was unable to care for her due to dementia. With a loving heart, their son ensured Maggie came to us so we could help her find a new, forever home. Now, let’s address the elephant… or should I say, the little mishaps? 😂 Maggie has developed a less-than-appetizing habit of not being picky about her snacks—she's known to munch on whatever she can find, be it dog, cat, or rabbit! While she was house-trained before all the changes in her world, she’ll need a little refresher course in potty training. Just think of it as an opportunity for bonding over that trusty training pad or outdoor adventures! 🐾 But let’s focus on the wonderfully charming traits of Maggie! This girl gets along beautifully with all the other dogs, and she’s perfectly fine around cats. Kids? Absolutely! Just make sure they’re of the gentle, calm variety and not the grabby, noisy type—Maggie likes a little peace! 🚗 Car rides? She’s all in! And she’s a star on the leash, although she might get a little adventurous if left unsupervised, so a leash or a fenced area is recommended. Maggie has totally won over her foster dad's heart and, as a bonus, is the ultimate leg warmer! With her adorable short tail, long legs, and even longer nose, she’s a unique little gem. Maggie is also quite cooperative when it comes to grooming; her heart was overflowing with gratitude as our volunteer, Renee, helped her shed those pesky mats that were holding her back. 💖 In essence, Maggie is everything you could wish for in a furry friend: sweet, snuggly, and downright delightful!
