Chewy’s life has been turned upside down but he’s taking it in stride. This senior Havanese/Lowchen mix has lived with another dog, gotten along well with visiting kids as young as two, and doesn’t mind cats either. He isn't much for toys, nor is he the sort to jump on your lap, but he likes to sit nearby and quietly keep you company. His owner couldn’t walk him in recent years, so Chewy’s been using potty pads indoors—he does fine on leash, but routine walks faded out.
