About Gabe
Gabe is a small senior Pomeranian who’s gone through a lot of change lately, but he’s taken it all in stride. He’s about 18 pounds and has spent his life with dogs, cats, and has done just fine around young children. He prefers companionship at a close distance rather than being in your lap, but make no mistake—he likes having his person nearby. Leash walks are familiar to him, though he’s spent recent years mostly indoors using floor pads. Gabe doesn’t chew, isn’t interested in toys, and appreciates a calm environment. He did well riding in the car and doesn’t get into trouble if left alone for a reasonable period. After arriving quite overweight and with a matted coat, he’s slimmed down nicely and enjoyed being brushed out, even having to be shaved in spots. He’s alert and will bark when there’s something interesting going on—typical Pomeranian. Gabe is seeking a home where he’ll have another dog companion or someone who’s home most of the time. Wherever he lands, he’s ready for a gentle, fresh start with people who value quiet devotion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
