About Coco
Coco is a 5-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound and American Staffordshire Terrier mix who still hasn't found her person. At around 64 lbs, she’s a big-hearted companion who thrives on close contact with her favorite human. If you’re looking for a dog that sticks by your side whether you’re lounging on the couch or heading out for a car ride, Coco fits the bill. She’s crate and potty trained, and she enjoys learning—sit, stay, shake, and "let’s go" are all in her repertoire. There’s a playful, goofy streak to Coco; she loves tug-of-war, adores her stuffies, and rarely goes far from her favorite red high-heel toy. Coco prefers being your one-and-only pet. She wasn’t well socialized with dogs earlier in life, so she finds dog-to-dog interactions confusing. Coco does not get along with cats, but she genuinely loves children, soaking up as much affection as they’ll give. She doesn’t require a fenced yard, though she does best on a long lead to satisfy her coonhound urge to sniff outside. Coco is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Despite a rough start, she’s quick to trust and eager for a calm, loving home where she can settle in and claim her spot next to you. Give Coco the chance she’s been waiting for—she’ll reward you with loyalty, snuggles, and plenty of heart. Your new best friend is just one click away.
