About Jenny
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Jenny! Jenny is a soft, soulful, and quietly wonderful girl. She is a 3-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix with a gentle heart whose experiences have taught her to move through the world with caution. Once she learns to trust you, she reveals a very sweet nature, though she takes her time building bonds. Jenny isnโt one to rush into relationships. She blossoms at her own pace, needing patience and kindness from those around her. What she does understand immediately is the company of dogsโshe truly thrives as part of a canine pack. Jenny bonds deeply with other dogs, finding both confidence and comfort in their presence. She loves dogs of all sizes, joyfully plays with them, and will happily snuggle up to her dog friends at bedtime, though sheโs also fine sleeping in bed with you. Due to her past, Jenny is still scared of the leash and will need a home that accepts she may always be a homebody. Despite this, she adores being outdoors, particularly sunbathing, which has quickly become her favorite pastime. Jenny is calm, quiet, crate trained, housebroken, and highly motivated by treats. She will gladly accept treats from your hand and enjoys gentle pets, especially with her dog friends close by for reassurance. Jenny is indifferent to cats and would do best in a quiet, adult-only home, or with older children (over 12) respectful of her space. She responds best to people who allow her to initiate connection in her own time. Jenny is deeply lovable, endearingly quirky, and absolutely worth the patience. For the right family, especially one with other friendly dogs, Jenny brings warmth, humor, and a quiet heart that make her a wonderful companion. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
