About Strider
Strider is a sweet, sensitive Lab mix with an old-soul energy that makes him feel wise beyond his young age. At around 8 to 9 months old and already about 60 lbs, he carries himself with calmness and has gentle house manners. Strider is crate trained and finds comfort in having a cozy, predictable spot, either in his crate or curled up in the living room, quietly napping or softly dreaming. Adjusting to Buffalo’s snow after coming from Georgia, Strider takes life one step at a time. He prefers short, peaceful walks and isn’t one for chaos or surprises—routine and patience really help him trust. He’s thoughtful, rarely makes a fuss, and always takes treats politely from your hand. If you’re looking for a dog with a relaxed tempo, Strider never rushes, and he loves his naps. He does best in a quiet home with older kids and likes the company of other dogs—he currently lives with a Shih Tzu buddy and would benefit from a confident canine friend. While he hasn’t lived with cats before, his gentle approach suggests he could do well with slow, proper introductions. Strider needs a patient adopter willing to move at his pace and help him feel safe. In return, you’ll get steadfast loyalty and easy, quiet companionship. Strider is a Taurus: steady, dependable, and warm-hearted. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
