About Sadie
Sadie is a resilient senior lab mix whose world changed suddenly when she lost her person and landed in the shelter system. Despite everything, she keeps her gentle spirit and sweet loyalty. In her foster home, Sadie has shown herself to be both house and crate trained, and adores her daily walks—though she's only up for short distances due to her size. She gets along very well with both dogs and cats, and becomes deeply bonded with her person, eager to stay close by. Sadie needs someone prepared to support her weight loss journey. Years of being overweight mean she’s now on weight management food, joint supplements, and limited to just a few stairs at a time. She’s also being treated for a tick-borne illness and has a benign fatty lump on her shoulder; still, her recent bloodwork looks great for her age. Sadie is happy and safe with her foster as she works toward a healthier life, but she's ready to start meeting people who want to make her part of their family. Ready to fall in love?
