About Sweet Rosie
Sweet Rosie came to Buffalo after her world turned upside down when her owner passed away. She endured eight long months in a shelter, nearly losing her chance at a future before landing safely with Buffalo CARES. Rosie is a Labrador Retriever mix with a special coloring: what looks like an all-black coat actually reveals deep chocolate fur on her body, a black head and tail, a white chest, and charming white toes, especially after a good bath. She’s playful, outgoing, and thrives on affection. Rosie keeps herself busy with toys and has a soft spot for fetch, though returning the toy every time isn’t guaranteed. Daily walks light her up, and she’s happiest when she can curl beside someone on the couch. Cuddling is one of her best skills. Rosie does well with dogs and children, but she isn’t a good fit for a home with cats. She’s house trained, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She’s ready to show a lucky family just how sweet and loyal a rescued dog can be. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
