About Nova

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Nova! Weighing in around 41 pounds, this 11-month-old Pit Bull girl is a lively, loving companion with a gorgeous white and brindle short coat. Nova truly is the life of the party, always ready to play fetch or enjoy yard time, and she loves nothing more than a good scratch or some gentle pets. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly to calm, patient people—especially women, who she currently prefers. With a sweet, eager-to-please personality, Nova learns fast and has already made great progress with leash manners and basic commands. Nova is not only smart and affectionate but also experienced with young children, showing a calm and playful demeanor with her foster’s five- and six-year-old boys. She does well with medium-sized dogs, but she should not live with cats or small animals due to her prey drive. A securely fenced yard is a must so Nova can play and adjust comfortably and safely in her new home, with supervision until she settles in. While she prefers a quieter introduction to new men, Nova is showing improvement thanks to patient volunteers. This spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped pup is looking for a loving adopter with experience or commitment to her breed's needs. Plus, as a Valentine’s Day baby, this spirited Aquarius brings fun-loving charm to every day! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
