Meet HANDSOME Bubba! Sweet Bubba is about 8 years old and a total love bug. He is a SOUL dog and the bond you'll form with him is absolutely amazing. He loves to lay on your chest and plop there for hours. He has a low energy level in the house and doesn’t need much except your love. He loves sunbathing and cuddles - pretty much all he needs to keep him the happiest pup! Breed: 100% American pitbull terrier - (he's been DNA tested). Also, half baby seal. Energy level: low / calm in the house. Quirks: Bubba has a bit of anxiety being left alone. He really loves a companion (dog or human) to lay next to or on top of him to calm him. Walks: gets incredibly excited when he sees the leash! Will pull for the first 20 seconds out the door and then does great! He's awesome walking past other dogs, and does wonderfully being waked alongside another dog. Toys with other dogs: His sister Stella has always stolen his toys from him and he lets her - probably because he's scared it could start a fight:( Due to this, he hasn't been able to have toys in awhile. His sister Stella is very dominant over him and he has a pretty neutral personality. There's been a lot of change in his current family (3 babies back to back), and this change has triggered something in Stella. She has been redirecting her feelings, and unfortunately has begun attacking sweet Bubba. With his submissive personality, he has not been fighting back, and instead just submitting to the attacks. As difficult as this is, his loving family has chosen to find him a home where he is not subjected to this anymore. Dog parks: We aren't fans, and due to the unpredictability of other dogs - we don't recommend dogs parks. From his family: "We would love to place him in a home with another dog. We have a $1000 impact crate that would go with him. We introduced Stella and Bubba over a 3-4 week period & did it slowly. We've had Bubba for 5 years. Since Stella is not dog friendly with random dogs, Bubba doesn't socialize with random dogs but we would love for him to live with another dog (with slow intro)." Kids: Well mannered, respectful children, 10+ (He is scared of toddlers lol) A few more notes! Does not jump. Gives kisses very sparingly but puts whole weight on your chest and wants to snuggle 24/7. Loves going underneath a blanket. Does well in car. Eats every meal well. Has the occasional zoom!
