Well… we think Denison is ready for her next journey. 🐾 She has blossomed into the sweetest little dog 38 lbs and absolutely adores her foster mom. We know she’ll fall just as in love with her future family. Denison is estimated to be 2–3 years old and would do best with another dog to play with and a fenced yard, because she loves her zoomies! After spending nearly nine months on the run, with the last three hunkered down in Denison, Iowa, she’s proven just how resilient she is. X-rays showed an old injury to her left femur that healed on its own, leaving her leg slightly shorter. It doesn’t slow her down, though she may have some arthritis later in life. Denison is house broke with a doggie door in a fenced in backyard. She may need some refresher classes if that’s not the set up in her future home. She has never been kenneled because she’s never done anything wrong. She would do best if she could curl up in bed with her person at night. Her bond with her human is stronger than most. Denison is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $135.
