About Wally
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Wally is a resilient pit bull mix who has already overcome so much in his young life. After being found as a stray with a severe neck wound and a limp, he received emergency care and began his journey toward healing. The kindness he's experienced in foster care has given him a fresh start, though the scars—both physical and emotional—have left him a bit guarded. Wally tested positive for Lyme disease but is now feeling much better after treatment. This brindle sweetheart is just about a year old, with a short coat and a unique little nose that makes him all the more endearing. His early days in foster care were filled with uncertainty, but with patience and consistency, Wally has blossomed. He has become increasingly playful, enjoying the company of the other dogs, his toys, and cuddling up with his foster mom at bedtime. Despite his challenges, he’s never had an accident indoors and is well-behaved around the house. Wally is still learning to trust, and he’ll need an adopter with patience and a fenced yard to help him feel secure. Once he warms up, he transforms into a loving, loyal companion who just needs a little extra reassurance as he settles into his forever home. Wally is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Whoever brings Wally home will be welcoming a gentle soul who is ready for a second chance. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
