Tad is a sturdy, 4-year-old pit bull mix with a short, rusty red and fawn coat. After surviving parvo and ringworm, and undergoing knee surgeries, heās settled into rescue life with surprising resilience. Tadās had his share of health hurdlesāsome allergies and seasonal flank alopeciaābut neither needs prescription meds right now. Despite the rough start, heās friendship in canine form: outgoing with visitors, and quick to offer a warm welcome. Tad does well with other dogs after a proper introduction, but truly thrives as the only petāheās a loyal type who prefers not to share his people, food, or toys. He isnāt vocal unless someoneās at the door, and heās perfectly house and kennel trained. Tad loves to play, especially with toys (be ready for shredded fluff), and never passes up a car rideāhe lives for a new adventure. Because quarantine shaped much of his puppyhood, he missed some basic training, but heās eager to learn if you have the patience. Tad is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
