About Tad
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Tad, a stunning 4-year-old male pit bull mix who has overcome quite a bit during his journey. After successfully recovering from parvo and ringworm, Tad underwent surgery on both knees and handles mild allergies and seasonal flank alopecia—luckily, nothing currently needs prescription meds. Despite his rocky start, Tad’s personality shines: he adores meeting new people and remains unfailingly friendly. Tad loves playing with toys, especially if he can pull them apart, and he’s happiest when going on car rides and adventures. He is perfectly kennel and house trained, and while he gets along with other dogs after a slow introduction, he’s truly at his best as the only pet at home since he sometimes doesn’t want to share his family, food, or toys. Cats are a no-go for him. Tad isn’t much of a barker but will alert you when someone new arrives. Because he spent much of his early life in quarantine, Tad is eager to learn but will need continued training to help him become the best companion. Tad is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is excited to meet you, but visits are by appointment with an approved application. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
