Chica gets along well with other dogs, especially small or similarly active ones, and she’s been a regular at the dog park since she was a pup. She’s friendly with strangers—she’ll say hello, then move along on her own business. Chica also does well with young children. Chica is house trained and enjoys sleeping close to her person at night. When her person is gone, she stays outside with access to the garage via a dog door. She does experience some anxiety when left alone, which can show up as barking or fence chewing, especially if she’s excited by activity outside. She’s obedient and leash trained, non-reactive around other dogs in public settings, and rides nicely in the car. Her recall is solid unless squirrels are involved; then she can get distracted. Chica needs a cat-free home and would do well with a confident adopter familiar with protective, energetic dogs.
