Mona is a 60-pound chocolate Lab with a love for attention, playtime, and splashing around in the water. At just two years old, she already knows how to sit and delights in spending time with people who show her kindness. Mona’s story started rough—she came from a harsh environment, arrived severely anemic and covered in ticks and fleas, and was partially blind. With a skilled rescue partner’s help and a life-saving blood transfusion, she made a strong recovery and is now ready for adoption. Despite everything, Mona remains affectionate and gentle. She gets along well with other dogs and is happy around children. She’s house trained and up to date on vaccinations, and her adoption fee is fully sponsored.
